ABOUT

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I grew up with a passion for sports. Whether it was the Ohio State Buckeyes or the Cleveland Cavaliers, sports were always on my television. 

 

It wasn't until 2016 that I found my love for motorsports. I sat down with my Step Dad to watch the 2016 Daytona 500, and the rest was history. After that day, I begged to go to my first race. In June of 2016, I headed to Michigan International Speedway (MIS) to attend my first ever NASCAR race. It was that day that I knew I would continue to work in sports for the rest of my life.

 

Soon after that race, I returned to MIS in August where I would soon meet the track president and be offered a position on the Michigan International Speedway Youth Fan Advisory Board. I humbly accepted the position and stayed on the board through the 2017 season.

 

That position propelled me to my first reporting job with NASCAR's Acceleration Nation. It was within that position that I realized I had a strong passion for social media and journalism and was able to collaborate with other big names in the sport, like NASCAR on NBC.

 

With that newfound passion, I applied and was accepted into Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. I just recently graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism - Strategic Communication, a minor in Sports Management, and a certificate in Social Media.

 

Throughout college, I worked with many companies during part-time jobs and internships that propelled me to understand what it takes to be successful post-college. Some of these companies include Ohio University Athletics, NASCAR, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Superstar Racing Experience, Venturini Motorsports, Scripps PRSSA, Hero Cosmetics, Amazon Prime Student, and more!

 

I hope to continue sharing my passion for media and communications with many companies in many industries in the future!
